“I know who am I”

Matt Damon is back as Jason Bourne and thank God for that. I was not a fan of 2012’s The Bourne Legacy, so when news broke that Damon and director Paul Greengrass were returning for another film I was 100% on board. The first trailer for this film is fantastic showing you the return of Jason Bourne but not revealing many story points. Jason does say the he remembers what happened so it looks Bourne is finally going to uncover the mysteries of his former life.

The trailer showcases some incredible action sequences as Damon reminds everyone everywhere that Jason Bourne will fuck you up. That Las Vegas sequence looks insane as Bourne tears through everything to accomplish his goals. Plus the trailer seems to be following the trend of connecting to modern political issues, mentions of “hacks” “leaks” and “Snowden” this events probably either caused by Bourne or the catalyst for what brings Bourne back into the world.

The cast includes Julia Stiles returning to franchise but also Alicia Vikander, Vincent Cassel and Tommy Lee Jones. Jones’s character appears to have connections to Bourne and knowledge of his past activities and I’m excited to see how the rest are utilised within the story. This is a fantastic trailer that shows a lot but tells very little, my excitement for this film has gone way up and with Greengrass at the helm I’m sure that we’ve barely know anything.

Jason Bourne is back. Get Hyped.
